House: a place where you reside, be it apartment, condo, townhouse, duplex, single family house. 
 
Home: the place where you live that has your personality all over it. Someone walks in and says, “This place really fits you.”  

As a buyer, you probably hope to find your dream place that represents you, that is really your home, the place you like to be, even if you know that you will be here only 4 years. It isn’t just any house, but a place where you want your friends and family to come admire your wonderful find and good taste.   

Are you moving here from another area of the country where the housing styles differ? I too, have lived in different areas of the country (CA, TX, MA, PA, NY, and now NC). What you are used to may affect what you want--as a buyer's agent, my job is to help you find what will please you.
